Many thanks for your letter and please accept this email as confirmation of
the fact that on receipt of £1,500 from Mr Carpet as compensation for
unsatisfactory laying of our floor, this will be the end of the matter with no
further action taken. However, the fitter is going to return to attend to
various remedial issues in the interim.
