I don't think this lady is going to go away.

She wants a bar fitted between the laminate and the Moduleo but hates coverplates. I 'll have a trawl through the catalogues and see if any other bar might work.

Also the floor slopes. When Grant took up the existing laminate floor it had been packed up one side. He discussed with the lady and put down an extra layer of ply this side and screeded it, this has helped but there is still a slope. I hadn't allowed for going under the kitchen, but probably pressured into it, Grant took the kitchen out and put it back on top of the floor and now it slopes as well.

I really do not attach any blame to Grant at all, he tried his best with a floor we hadn't expected and a very trying customer.

I have spoken to P & M and they are pretty sure they can put this right, they are busy until the week after Easter but could do it then. They are working in Putney at the moment, so if you agree we should go ahead with this extra work they may be able to call in to look over the job. Mark just needs the lady's address and phone number texted to him. I don't want to arrange this if we are not going to offer it, but as I said I think Mrs Lund is going to be persistent.
