Hi Dave,
These photos show how much was trimmed off last time. I didn't take photos of all the areas we stretched but these were indicative of the amount we had to trim off each area we stretched. 

Mike also sprayed the carpet on the gripper & rubbed it on vigorously to try & get to hold on the gripper better. The problem is the backing is so stiff it bulges in front of the gripper every time you try & tuck it down the gully!

I also had to use my large steam iron from home to steam out some creases in the carpet from where they had been bent to get them into the property.
These would normally stretch out easily or just walk out with use but not in this case Cheers Nigel
