Morning David,
Just letting you know that unfortunately we do not have any colour matching stock.
Customer Services has logged this as a potential complaint and we can keep it on record should there be a need to resurrect it at some stage in the future.
Is there anything else you would like me to do?
Kind regards,
Nick

Morning David,
Thank you for your email and apologies for the faulty carpet. I’ll have customer service log your complaint and check to see if we have any colour matching stock. I’ll come back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks again,
Nick

Nick Hi

Please see below email from John at Raynes Park. This relates to your invoice number 2158247 for Durham Twist 40 colour Tawny.

Currently the hole we didn’t notice before fitting has been repaired but it may come to light later on. Firstly we want to bring this to your attention and register the problem. Secondly we want your thoughts as to how to proceed.

If there was matching stock then we could replace part of the order but it would need the 8.10m replaced. If we wait and cant get colour matching stock then it may be both pieces in months to come.

We feel slightly guilty that we are disguising it from our customer hence I ask for your instruction or confirmation you will underwrite the problem as the hole was in the carpet on arrival. As John has said we noticed a hole when we were cutting up the HSL and managed to cut it out but this one wasn’t noticed until half way through fitting the carpet.

David

Hi Dave, Re: R17918 Carter.   Hall, stairs and landing. (Landing and stairs fitted Tuesday 14/8/18,  hall

When Alan was cutting up the carpets in the warehouse, he noticed a hole which he managed to avoid. When he was actually fitting the landing carpet, he noticed another hole, which he could put his finger through. Charlie repaired it using spray and cardboard behind and it looked OK and the customer never noticed it yet.

We still have the hall to fit when the customer is ready

The carpet is: Rutland 40, colour RUT40 E53  8.10 x 4m  and 2.20 x 4m

Do you think that we should change it all just in case?

John
