Apologies for the delay of my reply as I have been out of the business fore a few days, I note the comments of your attached letter , I will need to discuss this with the head of our business and we will respond in due course , for point of clarification the seven days period only pertains to the carpet foundation code of practice unfortunately wood is not covered by this association , the reason my colleague Richard mentioned this was to demonstrate that we are an established retailer and work closely with legislation in particular the sale and supply of goods act which states goods must be of satisfactory condition , you have taken no action with your installer , you have taken guidance from the Citizens advice bureau and are directing all responsibility on us and we now need a reasonable period of time to seek our own counsel on this matter     

 

Accordingly we will provide a full reply in the next few days
